Mumbai: Hemant Tamta, EVP, ESAF Small Finance Bank, met Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, He briefed the Chief Minister about the Bank, its mission, its vision, and the role it plays in fulfilling the mission of financial inclusion. No other mandate is more important for the Central Government than financial inclusion vis-a-vis future economic growth targets. He also explained to him about the organisation’s contributions to the underprivileged sections of society, helping them grow through microfinance lending and holistic services like skill development, leadership and financial literacy training. Furthermore, Shri. Tamta informed the Chief Minister about the Bank’s expansion plans across India, with a specific focus on Uttarakhand state. The Chief Minister appreciated the Bank’s initiative and assured the government’s full support.
