Patna, March 21: In Begusarai, Bihar, criminals shot Union Minister of State and Muzaffarpur MP Dr. Raj Bhushan Chaudhary‘s maternal uncle Malik Sahni late Thursday night.
He was seriously injured. He has been admitted to Sadar Hospital, Begusarai. This incident took place at Bhagwati Sthan Chowk in Kumbhi village of Cheria Bariyarpur police station area. Malik Sahni was closing his shop when firing took place and he got shot.
What Begusarai Police Said
According to the police, Malik Sahni was returning after closing the shop when armed criminals opened fire. During this, a bullet hit Sahni’s leg and he fell unconscious there. After this, the criminals fled waving weapons. Sahni was admitted to Sadar Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.

It is said that Malik Sahni is the cousin of Union Minister of State Dr. Raj Bhushan Chaudhary. The victim has told the police that there was a dispute with his son on the previous day over something.
Due to this dispute, the criminals have committed this incident. Vishal Kumar, son of Sahni, said that a day before, a criminal from the village had demanded extortion.
When the extortion was not paid, he abused and beat him. Last night three criminals came on a bike and fired indiscriminately. One bullet hit his father.
SP Manish said today that three miscreants were arrested with weapons. A bike was seized. The entire matter is being investigated.
