WR: No Day Mega Block On Sunday, 30th October, 2022
WR’s Night Block between Goregaon and Santacruz stations during midnight of saturday/sunday
To carry out maintenance work of tracks, overhead and signalling equipment, a Jumbo Block of Four hours will be taken on UP Slow and DOWN Fast lines between Goregaon and Santacruz stations from 00.25 hrs to 04.25 hrs on Sunday, 30th October, 2022.Therefore, there will be NO BLOCK in DAY TIME over Western Railway Suburban Section on this Sunday, 30th October, 2022.
According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the block period, all DOWN Fast line trains will be operated on DOWN Slow line & all UP Slow line suburban trains will be operated on UP Fast line between Santacruz and Goregaon stations.
All Slow suburban services will avail double halt at Vile Parle station and will not halt at Ram Mandir station in either direction due to non-availability of platform on the fast lines. Some suburban trains will remain cancelled during the block. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters.
