Mumbai: Women’s Day: Governor hosts lunch in honour of women staff of Raj BhavanMaharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari hosted lunch in honour of 49 women staff of Raj Bhavan on the occasion of International Women’s Day on Tuesday (8 Mar).
Women gardening staff, cleanliness staff, pantry staff, telephone operators, dispensary and women staff and officers from Education, Administration and other branches of Raj Bhavan were present.
The Governor said even though women staff members are the backbone of the Governor’s establishment, he never had the occasion to meet all of them together. He congratulated the women staff members on Women’s Day and thanked them for their important role in the organisation.
