Promotion of Private Shootable Locations
Filming activity requires shooting locations of both indoor as well as outdoor nature. Each script demands a unique location having salient features. Setting up Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari being managed by Maharashtra Film, Stage and Cultural Development Corporation Limited (popularly known as Filmcity) was a pioneering effort undertaken by Government of Maharashtra in that direction. Filmcity offers well equipped studios as well as picturesque outdoor locations for film, television serials, web series production apart from hosting prestigious events related to filming.
Production houses/companies are always on the lookout of new locations and Maharashtra has presence of numerous such private locations that can feed to the demand of industry. In an effort to promote such private locations as shooting destinations, we have decided to invite details including photos, videos, advertorials from the owners of these locations.
Selected few locations shall be promoted across various promotional platforms. This will not only help private owner earn profits but will promote destination as a tourist spot in addition to adding to the economy of local area.
