Mumbai: Maharashtra Governor releases biography of ISKCON Founder Srila Prabhupada. Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari released the biographical book ‘Sing, Dance and Pray’ based on the life and work of Srila Prabhupada, the Founder Acharya of ISKCON at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Thursday (14th July).
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Koshyari said Indian culture is eternal and ever new. He said Srila Prabhupada gave the eternal message of Indian civilization to the Western world in the simplest form through singing, dancing and praying. He called upon the author Dr Hindol Sengupta to bring out a smaller and simpler version of the book for the benefit of children.
Senior Vice President of ISKCON Bangalore and Vice Chairman of Akshaya Patra Foundation Chanchalapathi Dasa, President of Hare Krishna Movement Mumbai Amitasana Das and author Dr Hindol Sengupta were prominent among those present.
