Mumbai: Iceland Ambassador calls on Maharashtra Governor. The Ambassador of Iceland to India Gudni Bragason met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan Mumbai. Matters of mutual interest including enhancing cooperation in the areas of Clean Energy, Higher Educational and Culture were discussed.
Speaking on the occasion, the Iceland Ambassador said his country is keen to enhance cultural relations with Maharashtra. Governor Koshyari said in his capacity as Chancellor of public universities in Maharashtra, he would welcome cooperation with Iceland in the area of higher education and faculty exchange.
The Honorary Consul of Iceland in Mumbai Gul Kripalani was also present.
