Mumbai:- Governor of Maharashtra Felicitates State NCC for winning PM Banner. The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari congratulated the contingent of Maharashtra NCC for winning the prestigious Prime Minister’s Banner and the Champion Directorate Trophy at a reception held at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Wednesday (2 Feb). The Governor was speaking at a reception hosted by him in honour of the victorious contingent of Maharashtra NCC returning from the Republic Day Camp held in New Delhi.

The Maharashtra Governor saw the medals and trophies won by the NCC contingent and felicitated the NCC cadets and officers for putting up winning performances in the individual and team events at the Republic Day Camp and the Republic Day parade.

The Governor complimented Maharashtra NCC Directorate for winning the prestigious Prime Minister Banner after a gap of 7 years.

Today women are flying warplanes. In this year’s Republic Day movement, the group captain girls of Maharashtra NCC provided leadership in the movement as well as in various competitions. The Governor said that this is a sign of the rising sun of women empowerment in the country.

He was speaking at a tea party organized by the Governor at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday (Dec. 2) for the 57 cadets and officers of the Maharashtra NCC returning from Delhi with the victory flag.
As the name of Maharashtra rises, so does your reputation as Governor. NCC students are the future leaders of the country and everyone has immense power. The governor told the cadets that the youth would make progress in all fields if the discipline and patriotism adopted in the NCC was maintained.
