Central Railway Appeals Passengers To Make Use Of FOBs. Central Railway has provided sufficient number of foot over bridges at suitable locations as per norms at all stations. But even then it is observed that some passengers crossing tracks to enter / exit the station or to switch from one platform to another by endangering their lives and creating hindrance to train operations.
In this regard announcements are being made regularly at stations to use FOBs to enter / exit the station or to switch from one platform to another. It is also made aware by the RPF during the campaigns against trespassers that crossing railway tracks not only endangers their lives but also it is punishable under Railways Act.
All passengers are requested to avoid trespassing and make use of FOBs/Escalators/Lifts provided at stations.
