Mumbai: In a compassionate gesture, the Bank of India settled an accidental insurance benefit amounting to ₹46.53 lakh to the wife of Late Dinesh Wadekar, employee of BEST Undertaking, who succumbed to a tragic road accident. His salary account was being maintained with the Bank of India. The accidental death insurance benefit attached to his salary account was immediately activated following his unfortunate demise, ensuring financial support for his immediate family member during this difficult time. The Cheque of Rs.46.53 Lakh was handed to his spouse Mrs. Vijaya Wadekar in the presence of Shri Dinkar Kamath, Deputy Zonal Manager, Mumbai South Zone and BEST undertaking officials Shri Anand Sakhare, Shri Dinesh Gedam and Shri Pravin Jagtap.
