Mumbai: On the auspicious occasion of Republic Day, we had the honor of welcoming Shri Umesh Mallikarjun Zirpe, an esteemed mountaineer and recent recipient of the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award presented by the Hon’ble President of India, as our Chief Guest.
Shri Girish Mohanrao Thorat, General Manager and Zonal Head, along with Shri Ajeet Kumar Choudhary, Deputy Zonal Head, had the privilege of felicitating Shri Zirpe.
Following the flag unfurling ceremony led by Shri Thorat, Shri Zirpe inspired our staff with his insights drawn from his remarkable mountaineering journeys. He emphasized the significance of teamwork, collaboration, discipline, and stress management, sharing real-life experiences that resonated deeply. As a valued customer of Bank of Maharashtra, Shri Zirpe has brought immense pride to the nation with his achievements.
