Mumbai: Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visits to Bandra West Public Ganeshotsav. Union Home Minister Amit Shah Ganaraya’s family visited the public Ganeshotsav at Bandra ( West ). A 52 feet high replica of the famous Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu has also been created by this group which decorates various temples every year. Union Minister appreciated the design made by this group.
Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis , MP Poonam Mahajan , MLA Adv Ashish Shelar , MLA Chandrasekhar Bawankule , former minister Vinod Tawde etc were present on this occasion.
This year marks the 27th year of the Bandra West Public Ganeshotsav Mandal, with Ashish Shelar as the chief advisor , and a famous temple is decorated every year through this mandal. Last year the theme was about Kedarnath temple . A replica of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak’s palace in Ratnagiri was constructed during the Silver Jubilee year of the Mandal . Jitendra Raut, president of the board informed that along with the religious festival, many medical as well as social and cultural activities are being implemented through the Ganeshotsav Mandal and all the necessary rules regarding health are being followed .
