More tension and worries added to common man life in India amid inflation and economic downfall as Domestic liquid petroleum LPG gas cylinders weighing 14.2 kilogram will get more expensive from Wednesday as their prices have been raised by ₹ 50 per unit.
In the Delhi, it will now cost ₹ 1,053 per unit. Besides, in Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai, it will be priced at ₹ 1,079, ₹ 1,052.5, and ₹ 1,068.5, respectively, Indian Oil Corporation said.

The latest hike in domestic cooking gas prices comes months after finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman had in May stated that Ujjwala scheme beneficiaries will get Rs 200 per cylinder subsidy for 12 times in a year to help ease some of the burden arising from cooking gas rates rising to record levels.
Apart from domestic LPG, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder has been decreased by Rs 8.50 and it will now cost Rs 2012.50 per cylinder in Delhi, the IOC data showed.
