Renowned Comedian Raju Srivastava suffers heart attack: admitted to AIIMS .The 59-year-old comedian and actor Raju Srivastava had a heart attack on Wednesday morning in New Delhi while exercising there at a gym.
His team confirmed the same to a news portal, “Raju sir suffered a mild heart attack while working out. He is admitted to AIIMS, but he is doing fine. He is conscious.”
He was working out in the South Delhi gym when he felt uneasy and collapsed reportedly. The actor-comedian is currently hospitalised and is undergoing treatment for his heart illness.
He felt severe chest pain and then collapsed as per media reports. He was brought to the hospital by his gym trainer and was given CPR Cardiopulmonary resuscitation twice to resuscitate his heart.
His brother Ashish Srivastava confirmed the news, saying that he had an important meeting with the top leaders of delhi, he went to gym in the morning and also he went again in the evening, during that time he got a heart attack.
Renowned Comedian Raju has done several popular shows on television including The Kapil Sharma Show and The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. He was last seen two weeks ago in India’s Laughter Champion. He has done roles in films like Bombay to Goa, and Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya. He also participated in Bigg Boss 3. Raju srivastava is the chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Film Division Board.
