Mumbai: The New India Assurance Company organized the Partition Vibhishika Memorial Day and paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the country’s independence.
Mumbai: A spectacular event organised by the New India Assurance Company on 14 August 2023, The New India Assurance Co Ltd, The most prominent General Insurance Company of India organised “Partition Horrors Remembrance Day “and remembered the sacrifice of common people.
On this occasion, chief guest Colonel Shri Prem Kumar Sharma shared his own experiences associated with the Freedom struggle and partition of India, with large numbers of insurance employees present at the event. For 33 years Colonel Sharma worked with Rajput Regiment while doing his duty on Indian territory for keeping us safe. He fulfilled his duty as a brave fearless soldier of India in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, in the 1999 Kargil War, and in the 2004 Iraq war.
On this emotionally moving occasion, people who endured partition Horrors themselves Shri Vijay Swar, Shri Suresh Dua, Shri Ramesh Bhatiya were commemorated. This graceful event was organised at New India Centre, Cooperage Road where New India Senior executives GM Ms Sreedevi Nair, DGM Ms Shobha Rajgiri,
DGM Ms Shekhar Saxena, CRM Shri Vyenktesh Iyer along with a large number of insurance employees attended the programme.
